Rosanna Mendoza, or Rose (having lovingly been renamed by a sophisticated musician and artistic genius in 2004) is a creative person. She has done many forms of art and crafts including but not limited to: painting, drawing, gourd art, beading, crochet, knitting, sewing, wood-burning, mosaic, weaving, candle making and photography. She loves creating new things, loves color and likes to spend time in nature.
Nature is amazing and it is all around and within us.
A lover of learning new things, Rose has an eclectic education background. She earned an A.A. in Behavioral and Social Sciences in 2003 as well as a B.A. in English, Writing Emphasis in 2014. While earning her A.A. at Modesto Junior College in Modesto, California, she was a member of the poetry club as well as an editor and contributor to the literary magazine, The Quercus Review. She began to pursue her B.A. at Boise State University in 2009. Along with various writing courses in fiction, non-fiction and poetry at Boise State University, Rose also took many art classes including drawing and painting.
Always wanting to learn more about a variety of things, Rose enjoys continuing her education. Learning through homeschooling her son is the path of knowledge she is currently exploring.
Rose was born and raised in California and moved to Idaho in 2004. She currently lives with her family in Emmett, Idaho and at times in the many forests of Idaho and the West Coast.
